Watching VLN Races: How To Watch VLN Races Away From The Ring

In my last post we discussed how the VLN races are popular endurance racing series run on the combined Nordschlefe and GP track. Watching VLN races is one of the best things to do at The Nürburgring. They're great fun to be a spectator at and can be combined with a tour that includes driving the track yourself, visiting museums and road tours in exotic, sports or classic cars. For those that may have been following on our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram feeds, you knew Green Hell Guides was at the recent 24 Hours of Nürburgring. My dad and brother were with me for the race and my dad stayed on several days after for what would be pretty typical of one of our guided tour itineraries. Preparing for Your First Lap of The Nordschleife: Nürburgring First Time Advice

Today was the first day of the 2015 season at the Nürburgring. We're looking forward to our upcoming trip to the 24 hour race in May and now that the official calendar for the remainder of the year is available, we'll be setting dates for our fall tour very soon. So with everything getting under way for this year, I thought I'd address an important topic- preparing for your first lap of The Nordschleife.
