Today is Good Friday, when Christians remember the crucifixion and death of Jesus. In German, Good Friday translates as Karfreitag.
So, what’s Carfreitag? At The Nürburgring, it’s Carfreitag. It’s an unofficial kickoff to the driving season at The Ring that attracts a ton of enthusiasts.
Touristenfahrer Nürburgring has a few photos up already from this year’s Carfreitag on their Facebook page that give you some idea of how popular it is. Just look at all the spectators for something that isn’t even a race.
